WooCommerce push notifications for every order
WooCommerce has webhooks built in – no extra plugin needed. Point them at Webhooky and your phone rings for every order, with a cash-register sound if you like.
Set it up in WooCommerce
- In the Webhooky app, create an endpoint called “New order” and copy your link.
- In WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks.
- Click Add webhook, set the status to Active and pick the topic Order created.
- Paste your Webhooky link as the Delivery URL and save.
Place a test order and your phone should buzz within a second or two.
Useful WooCommerce webhook topics
- Order created – the classic cha-ching.
- Order updated – e.g. when an order is marked completed or refunded.
- Customer created – new account registrations.
- Product updated – handy for stock changes if you edit inventory externally.
Create one Webhooky endpoint per topic so each gets its own sound and history.
Tip: quiet nights
If you don't want to hear orders at 3 a.m., disable vibration for the endpoint or mute the notification channel at night via your phone's do-not-disturb schedule – the events still show up in your in-app history in the morning.
