Shopify push notifications for every new order
The best sound in e-commerce is a new order. With Webhooky, your phone plays a cash-register cha-ching the moment someone buys in your Shopify store – wherever you are.
Why store owners use it
Shopify's own app can notify you about orders – but Webhooky gives you full control: a distinct sound per event, notifications for things the Shopify app doesn't cover (refunds, inventory, custom flows), and alerts on any device without staff accounts.
Set it up in Shopify
- In the Webhooky app, create an endpoint called “New order”, pick the cash-register sound and copy your link.
- In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Notifications → Webhooks.
- Click Create webhook, choose the event Order creation and format JSON.
- Paste your Webhooky link as the URL and save.
That's it – place a test order (or use Shopify's “Send test notification”) and your phone rings.
Useful Shopify webhook events
- Order creation – the classic cha-ching.
- Order payment – fires when an order is actually paid.
- Refund created – know about refunds immediately (pick a different sound!).
- Customer creation – new customer registrations.
Create one Webhooky endpoint per event so each gets its own sound and history.
